Welcome to BNR, let’s make some music!

My name is Simon Jasieniuk (Jaz-nick) and I’m the owner/operator of Beez Neez Recording in Saskatoon.

As a musician first, the passion for producing and mixing came early in my musical journey as a way to realize my own ideas, and I commonly use that same philosophy today working with artists to help complete the full vision of each song from pre-production to final master. With over a decade of experience both in studio and performing live, I’ve been on both sides of the glass and bring that knowledge to the table on every project.

I’ve spent a large portion of my stage career playing bass and electric guitar for Brad Johner, learning and having opportunities to work along side and share the stage with Jess Moskaluke, the Hunter Brothers, Jeffery Straker and Bob McGrath to name a few. Early in my studio career I had the privilege of recording and producing anthems for the Saskatchewan Rush lacrosse team ‘Get Ready for The Rush’ and the 2016 summer games anthem ‘Spirit of The Game’. In more recent years I’ve been fortunate to record for The Johner Boys and Theresa Sokyrka, earn a credit on Jess Moskaluke’s 2018 Christmas album for recording and engineering the Hunter Brothers vocal feature and in 2022 I was brought on board to co-produce and mix the Travelodge 50th anniversary anthem ‘It Takes Us All’.

The studio features a large control room, vocal booth, and separate drum room all tied into 18 inputs making the space most useful for a modern production style and overdubbing. With a focus on drum recording and acoustic instrument capture, BNR can take care of all aspects of the process from pre-production and arranging, to the recording, editing, programming, mixing and mastering needed to compete with today’s sonic requirements. Questions and tours of the studio are welcome with no obligation to start a project. Feel free contact me with any questions, or to set up a meeting.
